₦NairaRate

What you really get

Put in a rate and the costs around it. The tool works out your net amount and your effective rate, and lets you compare two offers side by side.

Option A best P2P offer

Option B best instant quote

How the numbers are worked out

Selling: the network fee is taken off your USDT first, the remaining USDT is sold at the rate, the platform fee comes off the naira, and the bank charge comes off last. Your effective rate is the naira you finally receive divided by the USDT you started with.

Buying: you pay the rate times the USDT amount, plus the platform fee and the bank charge. The network fee reduces the USDT that actually reaches you. Your effective rate is the naira you paid divided by the USDT you received.

That is the same method as the worked example in what 500 USDT really puts in your bank, where a 1 USDT network fee turns a ₦1,498 headline into an effective ₦1,495.

Where to find your fees

Fee schedules differ and change, so read them on the exchange itself, usually in the fee page or on the order confirmation screen. If a service builds its fee into the price, as many instant services do, leave the platform fee at 0 and use its quoted rate. Option A and Option B are pre-filled with the best peer-to-peer and instant prices on the board when both are available, and you can overwrite any field.
